EKOVENT delivers a custom made intake air hood to Uppsala Town Hall

Uppsala Town Hall is undergoing a complete renovation, and a completely new extension is being built. The entire project consists of 27,000 m2 in floor space, of which 14,000 m2 is new construction. Construction will be aimed at certifying the renovated section and extension of the City Hall according to BREEAM on class level Excellent.

The delivered intake air hood can supply the entire new part of the town hall with air. The hood is 4.5m in diameter, has a grid height of 4m and an air flow of 38,500 l / s. 

For the project, EKOVENT also supplies fire-/ smoke dampers, pressure relief dampers, smoke extract fans, external louvres, wire mesh louvres and burglary resistant louvres.

The project is expected to be completed in 2021.
